Head to the Badaling section of wall, and stroll the ramparts to experience their monumental scale, ascending and descending by cable car. Afterward, have lunch at the Commune by the Great Wall before spending the rest of the day in Beijing as you wish. You might want to join our included tour of the ‘hutongs,’ a honeycomb of old alleyways that offer a glimpse into old Peking.
